Solving Abel Integral Equations of First Kind via Fractional Calculus
We give a new method for numerically solving Abel integral equations of first kind. An estimation for the error is obtained. The method is based on approximations of fractional integrals and Caputo derivatives. Using trapezoidal rule and Computer Algebra System Maple, the exact and approximation values of three Abel integral equations are found, illustrating the effectiveness of the proposed ap...
متن کاملOn Resolvent Estimates for Abel Integral Operators and the Regularization of Associated First Kind Integral Equations
In this paper resolvent estimates for Abel integral operators are provided. These estimates are applied to deduce regularizing properties of Lavrentiev's m-times iterated method as well as iterative schemes ? with the discrepancy principle as corresponding parameter choice or stopping rule, respectively for solving the corresponding Abel integral equations of the rst kind.
متن کاملLyapunov-type integral inequalities for certain higher order differential equations
In this paper, we obtain Liapunov-type integral inequalities for certain nonlinear, nonhomogeneous differential equations of higher order with without any restriction on the zeros of their higher-order derivatives of the solutions by using elementary analysis. As an applications of our results, we show that oscillatory solutions of the equation converge to zero as t → ∞. Using these inequalitie...
متن کاملA method for the numerical resolution of Abel-type integral equations of the first kind *
A numerical method to solve Abel-type integral equations of first kind is given. In this paper we suggest the research of a numerical solution for Abel-type integral equations of the first kind, by using a collocation method employing an interpolatory product-quadrature formula with a trigonometric polynomial of the first order. Some results of numerical examples are reported.
متن کاملSystems of Linear First Order Partial Differential Equations Admitting a Bilinear Multiplication of Solutions
The Cauchy–Riemann equations admit a bilinear multiplication of solutions, since the product of two holomorphic functions is again holomorphic. This multiplication plays the role of a nonlinear superposition principle for solutions, allowing for construction of new solutions from already known ones, and it leads to the exceptional property of the Cauchy–Riemann equations that all solutions can ...
